I've been there ...
The last thing you want to do after giving birth is having your photo taken, I totally get it. Heck, with my first I didn't plan any outfits, nothing. I was hormonal, sleep deprived, and thrown into this thing called "being a mom", the last thing on my mind was, "hey, lets bring in this photographer to capture this!" I did it - and I wouldn't question doing it again. Here is the thing, yeah, you might not like the way you look or feel but looking back on those pictures brings tears to my eyes. The subtle details you want to so badly remember but somehow forget are perfectly captured. Every little facial feature, hand gesture, and baby scrunch, all frozen in time for you and your family for years to come.
The truth is, those first days are fleeting. The tiny noises, the way their fingers wrap around yours, the way they curl up on your chest—it all changes so quickly. Having those moments documented means you’ll always have something tangible to hold onto when the newborn haze fades.
My goal isn’t to make your life harder, it’s to make it easier. I’ll guide you through everything, from what to wear to how to prepare (hint: you don’t need to do much at all). These sessions are about preserving love, connection, and the raw, beautiful start of your journey as a family. Because years from now, when the sleepless nights are behind you, you’ll be so grateful you can look back and see where it all began.
